1 . introduction to Photoshop
Software Photoshop is an image editing program used to create , process and produce a picture ( image ) by means of digital techniques in and effects , so that the image looks different from the original and of high quality . With Adobe Photoshop we can design a variety of shapes illustrations precisely like : newspapers , tabloids , book covers, brochures and others.

Running Adobe Photoshop there are several ways :
through the Start
Click Start , select All Programs , select Adobe , click the Adobe Photoshop 7.0 ( eg Photoshop 7.0 )

Through Photoshop shortcuts that are on the desktop .
Navigate to the Shortcut Photoshop pointer , and then double- click .

2 . Components Of Adobe Photoshop

Title Bar :
Displays the name of the file that is currently active and can be used to move the photoshop window on the desktop .

Menu Bar :
Contains a row of menu includes : File , Edit , Image , Layer , Select, Filter , View , Windows , Help .

Ruler :
Also called a ruler or useful to determine the position and size of an object .

Status Bar :
This section displays various information about objects and tools that are being selected .

Drawing Windows :
The area is used as a worksheet to be creative with photos or drawings .

Toolbox :
The components used to provide access to Photoshop command .

palette :
This component is used to select and set various parameters .

Sizing Button :
Button size is at the top right of the window potoshop .

3 . Create and modify Spreadsheet / Canvas

How: Click on the File menu , select New ( Ctrl + N ) , then it will exit the New dialog box .

Preset Sizes : To determine the size of the canvas sheet
Width : To determine the width of the image .
Height : To determine the height of the image
Resolution : To determine the desired resolution .
Mode : Shape of color choices .

RGB ( Red , Green , Blue ) Color each have a total of 256 colors .

CMYK ( Cyan , Magenta , Yellow , Black ) Color consisting of a 4 color , 32 bits per pixel . Use this mode if you want to print color images .

Bitmap is an image that consists of 1 bit color ( black and white ) or also called 1 - bit images and have the smallest size .

Lab ( Lightness , a = from green to red , b = from blue to yellow ) are 3 components that use images to represent the color . You can use the mode to work dengangambar - gambarPhoto CD . While the Lab Color is the color that is used internally when converting Photoshop color mode to another one .

Content groups : to determine the basic color canvas .

Tools are included in this group is a tool that serves to
make a selection on the object .

Rectangular Marquee Tool
Serves as a selection maker rectangular or square .

Elliptical Marquee Tool
Serves to make the selection in the form of an ellipse or circle .

Single Row Marquee Tool
Serves to make the selection in a row line .

Single coloumn Marquee Tool
Serves to make a selection in one column line .

B. MOVE TOOL
Serves to move an object on the active layer to another .
